Beth Williams

Beth Williams was raised in South Florida in a close knit, Italian family, all of which are artists in their own trade. Homebuilders, furniture designers and manufacturers, decorators, etc. "I was surrounded by art everyday, it is what fed us. Color, form, design and placement came natural to me. Along with a comfort and need to express it."

Beth worked in commercial art in beautiful Western North Carolina while also entering many area art shows.Moving back to South Florida in the mid 1990's, Beth continued in commercial and residential art, working with many designers and businesses creating murals and faux finishes."I love the before and after photos of projects I have done. It is amazing what art can do for a room and the people in it."

Now switching her focus to canvas, Beth Williams pours her imagination and emotions into every unique piece. "Each of my paintings have a story behind them. I start with a blank canvas and you never know what is going to emerge as the final result. I have learned with my method of painting , that there are no mistakes in art, just an open opportunity for something that is greater, something that is supposed to be there that seems to always find it's way. As if to say, Oh there you are! It is never dull and always changing."

"I describe my work as a personal evolution , not just for each piece, but for me, my taste and constant development as an artist."

Beth Williams' paintings can be seen in many upscale homes across the country, along with business, Doctor's offices, banks, fine Hotels, galleries and of course juried art shows.
